The following is a set of guidelines for contributing to SOEM/SOES. (These are just guidelines, not rules, use your best judgment.)
Contributor License Agreement
If you want to contribute to SOEM or SOES you will need to sign a Contributor License Agreement and send it to us either by e-mail or by physical mail. More information is available in this PDF.
Commits and commit messages
- Squash your commits into logical units of work
- Use the present tense ("Add feature" not "Added feature")
- Use the imperative mood ("Read register..." not "Reads register...")
- Limit the first line to 72 characters or less
- Reference issues and pull requests if possible
